   – Physician Services
   – Ambulance Service
   – Clinical Research
   – Lab, X-Ray, Diagnostic Tests
   – Mental Health
   – Outpatient Surgery
   – Durable Medical Equipment

What Additional Costs Are There?

There is a monthly premium associated with Medicare Part B. The amount you pay is dependent upon your yearly income as reported on your tax returns from the preceding 2 years.

As with Medicare Part A, Medicare Part B has cost sharing associated with it as well. In 2025 each Medicare beneficiary must pay a $257 deductible. Unlike the Medicare Part A deductible, there is no benefit period.  The Part B deductible is a one time per calendar year deductible. After the deductible has been met, each Medicare beneficiary must pay 20% of all Medicare Part B covered services. There is no cap on the amount the Medicare beneficiary will pay.
